Review of LV Skate (from a QC/pack from the agent’s perspective)
Hey, I’m posting a quick review of the LV Skate shoes that finally arrived after I’d only seen the QC photos.
Seller: Jelly / WWTOP (I bought them through Kakobuy, and shipping was fine).
Appearance and QC:
Compared to the photos from the warehouse, they look even better in person. The shape of the shoe is intact — no flat toe box, which is a noticeable issue in lower-quality batches. The LV flower on the side has even stitches, no tearing, and no glue showing anywhere (it looked clean in the QC photos, and it’s the same in reality). The tongue is properly padded and thick, just like the original. On the back of the heel, the embroidery/text “Vuitton Since 1854” is sharp, and the small details on the sole are well-proportioned.
Comfort and fit:
As I mentioned after trying them on, these are pretty heavy shoes, so you can definitely feel their weight on your foot. But the interior is so well-padded that your foot feels like it’s in a slipper. They fit perfectly to my usual size — nothing presses on my toes.
Downsides:
The only downsides are the weight and the fact that for the first two wears I had to stretch them a bit around the ankle since the leather on the back is pretty stiff. Also, in the QC photos, the lighter-colored parts seemed slightly different in tone due to the lighting in the warehouse, but they look great in sunlight.
