Burberry Fordson Zip Hoodie – REP vs. RETAIL comparison

Compared to the original, the replica looks really good. At first glance, the hoodie doesn’t have any major differences, but it has a few minor flaws.

1. Chest print – it seems a bit less detailed and slightly too light in color compared to what’s available in retail.

2. Hoodie – the colors seem a bit faded. I’d especially like to point out the red stripe, which I think is the element of the hoodie that’s reproduced worst. Of course, we need to take into account the differences in lighting in the photos.

3. Hood strings – in my opinion, they’re slightly too light, but it still needs to be checked in person, because the lighting might be affecting their actual color.

4. Label, or more precisely, the fabric composition – the replica’s label says 100% cotton, while the retail version of Fordson has 75% cotton and 25% polyester. So there’s a noticeable difference in the labeling, though it doesn’t necessarily mean the replica’s actual fabric is 100% cotton.

In my opinion, the price we pay for this hoodie ($53) is well balanced. I think the hoodie was made to a really high standard.

In short: it’s a really solid hoodie, and most of the potential differences are so minor that they’re hardly noticeable during everyday use.
